The Kentucky State Fair Fairbears are coming to the Franklin County Fair and Horse Show Monday, July 16 . Fairbear and Fairabear are the adorable official mascots of the Kentucky State Fair and will be giving away free hugs, state fair souvenirs and information about the 2007 Kentucky State Fair. These playful personalities have been around since 1978.

This year's Kentucky State Fair will be August 16-26 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. The Fairbears will return from their statewide tour of more than 90 scheduled appearances for the state fair and can be found meeting and greeting all their friends throughout the fair.
