The winning "Ugly Lamp" qualifies for the Kentucky State Fair

Ugly Lamp Contest in August in Louisville. The winning lamp at the State Fair

is displayed at Lynn's Paradise Café, also in Louisville.

RULES

1. Entries will be taken Sunday, July 13, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Monday, July 14, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.

2. Anyone removing entry before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, will forfeit prize money.

3. Exhibitors must have been a resident of Franklin County since July 31, 2007.

4. The lamp MUST BE UGLY.

5. The lamp may be bought, homemade or modified. However, it must be a working electric lamp.
