The winning "Ugly Lamp" qualifies for the Kentucky State Fair

Ugly Lamp Contest in August in Louisville. The winning lamp at the State Fair

is displayed at Lynn's Paradise Café, also in Louisville.

 

RULES

1. Entries will be taken Sunday, July 11, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Monday, July 12, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.

2. Anyone removing entry before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16 will forfeit prize money.

3. Exhibitors must have been a resident of Franklin County since July 31, 2009.

4. The lamp MUST BE UGLY.

5. The lamp may be bought, homemade or modified. However, it must be a working electric lamp.

6. Blue Ribbon Winners must wait five years before entering the same lamp.
